Keep it short
Business SMS strategies work best when the message is short and simple.
Don't try to put too much in your text - you'll run the risk of your customer
not reaching the end. Texts should be easy to read, so don't put in too much
detail, instead, focus on getting your message across quickly. Of course, you
can always provide a shortened URL for those that want more information.
Choose your words
With a limited amount of space, you need to choose your words carefully. For
a young, laid-back customer base, textspeak and abbreviations might work.
But this won't have the same impact if you're targeting mature professionals.
You also need to make sure that any limitations around your offer are clear to
avoid confusion and disappointed customers.
