SMS Marketing and Your Brand: Our 4 Step Process – Step 1
It’s really important that your SMS marketing campaign showcases your brand and each text message comes across in the way you want it to.
It just wouldn’t feel right for a local takeaway to use too much jargon and corporate language in a text message.
In the same way it wouldn’t feel right for an established accountant to take the informal tone of a market trader.
Conveying your brand correctly is crucial for SMS marketing success.
Here at Reach we want to make sure that every message you send is telling your story, in your voice. Every message matters, and we put that above all else.
We’ve developed a 4-step process to help you create a simple and clear communication strategy that is for you.
Our 4-step system is simple and easy to use, which is exactly what we believe marketing should be. Simple, clear, friendly and easy to understand.
The 1st stage of our process involves 4 straight-forward questions we’d like you to answer. Think about each question as this will form the basis for the further 3 steps. Once we’ve completed all 4 questions you will be clear on exactly who and why you are targeting in your text messages.
Who are you?
Write a little about you. A 160 character introduction to be precise.
Take the next 5 minutes to write a brief introduction that is only 160 characters long (the same as a 1 text message credit).
Who do you want to talk to?
List everyone your company would like to talk to.
What do you want them to do?
Here we would like you to write your ‘call to actions’. A call to action is a prompt to do something,
such as encouraging the reader to click on a ‘Click Here’, or ‘Buy Now’ link or button. Write a few examples below.
The next 3 steps will be publish in our future blog posts. We will expand on each question and why the
1st step will form the basis for showcasing your brand correctly.
