1 - Hi Adam. Firstly, tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hey everyone, I’m Adam and I’ve been working for Reach for 2 years now. Although I’m a local lad I’m a huge Newcastle United fan (Don’t ask me how!) I used to have a season ticket but still go to games regularly. If I’m not watching Newcastle, you’ll find me spending time with my Mrs. or practicing yoga.
2 - Tell us about your role at Reach.
I’m the customer account manager so I manage and maintain relationships with all our web clients helping them out with anything they might need - from list cleaning to sending out their first campaigns. I also run the monthly ‘Every Message Counts’ workshop for local businesses who are interested in SMS marketing.
3 - What does your typical day include?
A typical day for me would be to deal with all new the new registrations from the website, reaching out to the client to see how they are looking to use SMS and give them an introduction to the platform. I also handle any incoming webchats and queries from existing clients to make sure their experience using Reach is the best possible.
4 - What do you enjoy most about working at Reach?
We have a great work life balance here and a relaxed atmosphere in the office, we have good banter and that helps create a positive working environment. The flexibility of my job role means every day is different which is always challenging and always fun.
5 - If you weren’t a customer account manager what would you want to be
Hopefully, I’d have another role within Reach but if not, I’d have another job in the telecommunications industry.

A message from my wife telling me to go to the shop after work!
