This month we chat with our Head of Business Development, Jeremy.
I’m from France and I studied international business in both France and the UK. I’ve always had an interest in technology and all different aspects of business. I spend most of my free time with my kids and watching sports.
I started as a Spanish Account Manager nearly 8 years ago at Reach and my role has changed over the years. I now oversee international growth and my role is to ensure that we have a global strategy in place which covers both short and long term.
I have several jobs really. Mainly, I assist clients with international queries and advise on the different regulations in place in every country. I also try to increase our direct operator connectivity and negotiate with new mobile operators, selecting which destinations where we see growth and where I feel it would be strategically a good move to have our own direct connections. Finally, I have regular meetings with our international team to ensure we are on target to meet our goals.
The flexibility. It’s like having the benefits of having your own company and not the worries of losing everything. I am free to plan my day as I want, without having to report to management about what I do every day. It’s also the flexibility to be able to get out of the office when you need to and knowing your boss trusts you.
